Year 12 covers a lot of ground, and not everything lands the first time. This pathway is for students who want to revisit the parts that didn't quite click, build genuine understanding, and walk into Year 13 feeling prepared rather than uncertain.
For students who feel confident in their Year 12 work and want to hit the ground running in Year 13. We get ahead of the curriculum early, work through new topics properly, and develop the deeper mathematical thinking that A and A* grades require. By the time school starts, the work will already feel familiar, and that head start makes all the difference.

Getting into the UK's most competitive mathematics programmes takes more than strong A-Level grades; it takes dedicated preparation for the admissions tests that set candidates apart. This pathway is built around STEP, MAT, and TMUA: the proof, the reasoning, and the kind of unfamiliar problem-solving that school alone won't prepare you for.

Consultation
I will arrange a brief consultation to discuss the student's strengths, areas for development, academic ambitions, and suitability for the programme.
Pathway Placement
Based on the consultation, the student is placed on the most appropriate pathway and a personalised preparation plan is drawn up ahead of the first session.
Programme Begins
Five weeks of structured, personalised 1:1 sessions delivered online. Each session builds progressively towards the student's goals for Year 13.

Mathematics Tutor & Academic Coach
I hold a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham, with particular depth in calculus, linear algebra, probability, mathematical modelling, and multivariate analysis. I have extensive experience teaching A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, as well as supporting students studying IB Mathematics and preparing for university admissions tests including STEP, MAT, and TMUA.
My approach to tutoring is structured, personalised, and focused on developing genuine mathematical understanding. I place particular emphasis on clear reasoning, problem-solving ability, and building the confidence required to tackle challenging and unfamiliar questions independently.
This programme is designed for ambitious students who want serious preparation rather than generic tutoring. Each student follows an individually tailored pathway based on their current level, goals, and academic ambitions.
